The product marketing manager at Lasernet is a key, strategic role that will be responsible for accelerating our global Go To Market (GTM) activities. This person will be responsible for creating compelling product narratives, testing and refining messaging, capturing market intelligence, and building a global enablement program for our seller network. Working alongside our digital and field marketing teammates, this person will be responsible for shaping the market perception of our flagship Lasernet Platform.
Success in this role looks like adding high quality, convertible leads to the pipeline either through direct sales or our partner sales funnel. Successful product positioning will result in competitive displacements and market acceleration in each of our verticals. Future opportunities for this person could include public speaking opportunities and joint authoring of research.
Ideally you should have 2-5 years’ B2B SaaS experience, product management and customer success or sales managers with relevant transferable skills and a passion for marketing are encouraged to apply.
Being fluent in English is essential for this role.
You will also need to be willing to undertake occasional international travel to attend trade shows.
Duties / Responsibilities - What Your Month Will Look Like:
Lead Product Communications
• Work with product management to understand, position, and craft messaging for the Lasernet Platform and new releases
• Create and manage the release communication program including website materials, email, social content, video content, and internal comms
• Create vertical specific messaging and content – for our Dynamics, Banking, or Manufacturing ICPs
• Curate a library of content for key functionality of Lasernet: including the value to the customer, how we solve their challenges, and technical supporting information. You should be comfortable building the messaging and content; creative design experience a plus but not necessity
Own Sales / Partner Enablement
• Create sales and partner enablement material about key and new features of the Lasernet Platform
• Lead quarterly enablement sessions for our partner ecosystem
• Develop and own the partner portal on the Knowledge Base: including content
Strategic Positioning / Research
• Work alongside sales leadership to identify and research key competitors and create a library of intelligence for our product and sales team
• Liaise with analyst firms to create compelling primary research for use in product positioning
• Identify market trends and create compelling thought leadership
Who Will Succeed in this Role
• A self-starter who has some experience and is looking to build our product marketing function from the ground up.
• Someone with the right balance of experience and the drive to build a program of their own.
• Someone who thrives when working closely with team members but who is also comfortable ‘getting it done and out the door’.
• Someone who has a flexible approach to their work and is proactive in reaching out to the wider team to gain support to ‘make ideas come to life’
• Someone with at least 2 years practical experience in B2B SaaS – post graduate qualifications are welcomed but not essential.
• Someone able to translate technical software jargon into, clear value centred messaging
